Colleen earned both a B.A. in Geographic Information Systems, and a M.A. in Geography and Urban Planning at Binghamton University.  Her background includes nine years in the Planning and Development department in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.  

Colleen received her certification in Planning by the American Planning Association in 2013.  She has experience in all levels of planning, including long-range planning and planning implementation.
