Rich has been with Thoma since 1995 and assumed full ownership and management of the company in January 2018. He has a B.F.A. degree from Syracuse University, has completed Masters level work at the University of Vermont, and is a Certified Main Street Manager through the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Cortland Program.
Prior to joining Thoma, he was the Executive Director of PRIDE of Ticonderoga Inc., a non-profit Rural Preservation Company in northeastern New York.
Rich is responsible for project oversight for all grant development and planning assignments, regardless of project size or scope. His extensive experience in the areas of housing rehabilitation, construction management, downtown revitalization, waterfront revitalization, and historic preservation is a benefit to our customers. Rich’s personal and professional contacts in local, State, and federal governments have also proven to be beneficial to our customers. These contacts allow our company to remain current on funding opportunities as they become available.
